Trip to Vermont!

5:30AM my alarm rang: "Time for a 10 hour trip to Vermont with the Pawleys!" :) 10 hours crammed in a 15 passenger van with 14 people (plus stuff) could always be trouble! We packed everything up and down the road we went. All of us girls sat in the 2 back rows, we laughed, talked, ate, and slept. (well at least I did) Lauren read a book, Abbie took millions of pictures, Jada slept most of the time, Rose read the book with Lauren and watched out the window, I'm not sure what Emily did, as for me I just sat and took in all of Gods creation (and slept)! It was so beautiful. (the sleep or the scenery?) We got there at 6:30PM and Church started at 7:00; we had to unpack everything, eat and change in time for church. Talk about a mad rush! Preaching didn't end until around 10:30-11:00, and we didn't get to bed until 12:00. The next morning nobody wanted to get up! Then Pastor did devotions with the youth then we learned some new songs, after that we went on a 7 - 8 mile hike up a very steep, tall mountain; half way up was about a 45 degree angle, then the rest of the way up was about 60! It was much easier going up than down, because when you go down, you feel like you are going to fall face first into the ground! The scenery from the top of the mountain was absolutely gorgeous, we couldn't soak enough of it in. But we had to head back to the green-house in time for dinner and church. That's where we slept, it was heated! We were able to play our instruments for 30-40 minutes. We really enjoyed that! It seemed like the three days ended far to soon, and we were back in the van for the 10 hour trip home! Lets get rolling! Fake sleeping!(hehe)
