~ My 2008 ~

1. A good book I read: Eli - a fictional story about what it would be like if Christ did NOT come yet, but came in the 21st century. It's really neat to see how the author tied in the parables and teachings of Christ into our day! {The Last Sin Eater was great too Aim!}

2.)A great film/movie I watched: One Night With The King - The story of Esther. It really makes you think about how it really was, and puts you in her Jewish shoes, going before the KING!!!

3.) A new place I visited: Ummmm - Nowhere new in '08. (Unless you count stores or something. Then I'd say Kohl's. )

4.) An inspiring Bible verse or quote I read: "Live like you are going to die tomorrow." (I couldn't pick just one verse....)

5.) A new skill I acquired: Cello playing!

6.) A lesson I learned: Learning to trust God that there are rivers in the desert. We just need to find them (before we croak!)

7.) A moment I will always remember: (1) Getting the phonecall that my dog got hit by a car twice and died. He was my buddy and constant companion. :-( (2.)Seeing my life flash before my eyes when I thought I was going to die when my horse freaked and ran straight for the road! Thankfully it is a quiet country road with few cars. I LOVE my horse Dakota. Life is never dull with him around!

We were able(as a church) to go and witness to a whole bunch of homeless lost people, we were aloud to pass out tracks, sit one on one with people, play our instruments and sing! after we were done with this we were able to pack boxes for low income families, and inside the boxes we were aloud to put our tracks in there and over 500 families would receive them. Here's some pictures!!
